The Township of Ear Falls is located on the shores of the famous Lac Seul, the English River, Wenesaga Lake and Pakwash Lake which offers residents and visitors a spectacular playground that is enjoyed yearround offering world-class fishing and hunting right at their doorstep.

One of Ear Falls most dominate features is located at the west end of Lac Seul, a natural pinch point in the English River system, is Ontario Power Generations Ear Falls Hydro Electric station. For over 90 years this 17-megawatt power dam has provided Ontario with clean renewable energy.

Keeping with the renewable resource theme, the Ear Falls Sawmill, the only mill of its kind in the region supplies dimensional lumber to the North American market. The Township works hard to ensure this community has everything necessary to live, work and play. Their recreation assets are second to none.
